Driver FAQs

Find answers to common questions about pre-registration, vehicle requirements, and the review process.

What is driver pre-registration?

Pre-registration allows you to submit your details and documents before 3rip officially launches in your city. It helps you get verified and ready to drive on day one.

Does pre-registration mean I am approved?

No. Pre-registration means your application is in our system. You must pass our review process to be pre-approved, and you will only be activated when your city officially launches.

Can I apply without a vehicle?

Currently, you must have a vehicle to complete the application process. Fleet drivers should register through an approved fleet owner.

How long does review take?

Review times vary based on application volume and document verification. We will notify you of any status updates or if changes are requested.

What does waitlisted mean?

If you are waitlisted, it means your application is approved, but we are managing the number of active drivers in your city to ensure everyone gets enough rides. You will be notified when a spot opens.

Will I need to pay to register?

No, 3rip does not charge a registration fee to apply as a driver.
