Personal Requirements
- ✓Meet the minimum legally permitted driving age.
- ✓Possess a valid, unexpired driver's licence.
- ✓Provide a valid Government-issued identification (e.g. NIN, Passport).
- ✓Have verified and accessible contact information (phone and email).
- ✓Consent to identity and document review background checks.

Vehicle Requirements
- ✓Vehicle must be fully registered in Nigeria.
- ✓Must be in safe, roadworthy condition.
- ✓Must have appropriate seating capacity (minimum 4 doors).
- ✓Clean interior and exterior.
- ✓Working seat belts, lights, and indicators.
- ✓Air conditioning is required for most ride categories.
- ✓Evidence of vehicle ownership or authorization to use the vehicle.

File Preparation Guidance
- ✓Ensure photographs or scans are clear and readable.
- ✓The full document must be visible with no cropping.
- ✓Avoid glare or shadows on the document.
- ✓Ensure all document expiry dates are valid.
- ✓Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, PDF.
- ✓Do not submit altered or tampered documents.

City-Specific Requirements
In addition to the general requirements, some cities may require specific permits or additional vehicle standards. Currently, exact requirements will be shown during the application process after you select your intended driving city.
Abuja (FCT) Notice:
Drivers in Abuja must possess a valid FCT Hackney Permit. You will be prompted to upload this during pre-registration if applicable.
