Driver & Vehicle Requirements

1. Driver Partner Criteria
Minimum legal and identity criteria to drive on 3rip:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Nigerian Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) driver's license
- Valid National Identification Number (NIN) for verification
- Clean criminal record and character background review
- Good command of basic English or local language (Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo)
2. Vehicle Standards
Cars approved for passenger comfort and road safety:
- Year of manufacture: 2005 or newer
- 4-door sedan, hatchback, SUV, or minivan in good exterior condition
- Fully functional air conditioning (AC) system
- Working seatbelts for all passengers (front and rear)
- No visible body dents, broken glass, or exhaust smoke
3. Device & Connectivity
Your phone is your cash register and navigation tool:
- Android smartphone running Android 8.0+, or iPhone (iOS 15+)
- Functional GPS location tracking hardware
- Active 4G mobile data connection (MTN, Airtel, Glo)
- Working smartphone camera for document scans and facial selfies
- Dashboard or vent phone holder for safe, hands-free navigation
